Side Effects of Alfuzosin

Although most people have no problems with alfuzosin, side effects are possible. Some of the most common side effects include dizziness, fatigue, and headaches. In many cases, these side effects are minor and easily treated by you or your healthcare provider. However, serious side effects of alfuzosin, such as signs of an allergic reaction, fainting, or chest pain, should be reported to your healthcare provider.

An Introduction to the Side Effects of Alfuzosin

As with any medicine, alfuzosin hydrochloride (Uroxatral®) can cause side effects. However, not everyone who takes the medication will experience side effects. In fact, most people tolerate it quite well. If side effects do occur, in most cases, they are minor and either require no treatment or are easily treated by you or your healthcare provider.
