Axiron Drug Interactions
Insulin, warfarin, and cortisone are just a few of the drugs that are known to interact with Axiron. Depending on the particular interaction, problems such as liver damage, fluid retention, and decreased blood sugar are possible. To reduce your risk of potentially serious problems, tell your healthcare provider about all other medicines and supplements you are taking.

Axiron can decrease blood sugar. If you take insulin, you should monitor your blood sugar more closely when starting or stopping Axiron, or even when adjusting your dose.
