Drug Interactions With Dutasteride/Tamsulosin

Before taking dutasteride/tamsulosin, make sure your healthcare provider is aware of any other medications you are taking (including nonprescription medicines and herbal supplements). Some medications, such as beta blockers and alpha blockers, can cause negative drug interactions when taken with dutasteride/tamsulosin. These reactions can alter the amount of the medications in your blood, possibly causing side effects or decreasing the effectiveness of the drugs.
