Who Should Not Take Dutasteride?

You should not take dutasteride if you:
 
  • Are allergic to Avodart, dutasteride, or any inactive component used to make Avodart. Your healthcare provider or pharmacist has a list of the inactive ingredients used to make dutasteride.
     
  • Are or may be pregnant.
     
  • Are a woman or child.
     

Dutasteride Precautions and Warnings: Summary
