Injectable Impotence Medication
Many men achieve stronger erections by using injectable impotence medication to treat the condition. These medications are injected into the penis, causing it to become engorged with blood. Injectable impotence medications for erectile dysfunction treatment work by widening blood vessels.
Injectable impotence medications include:
- Papaverine hydrochloride
- Phentolamine
- Alprostadil (marketed as Caverject®).
Injectable impotence medications, while effective for many men, may also create unwanted side effects in some patients. These can include persistent erection (known as priapism) and scarring.
