Men Home > Signs of Low Testosterone
Depending on a person's age, the signs and symptoms of low testosterone can vary significantly. For example, insufficient testosterone in a male fetus can result in abnormal (or absent) male genitalia. For boys, low testosterone may slow down or even prevent puberty.
Some signs of low testosterone in adult men may include:
- Problems with sex drive or sexual performance
- Fatigue and low energy
- Decreased muscle mass and increased fat mass
- Decreased bone strength.
In general, signs and symptoms of low testosterone levels are more severe in younger age groups and tend to be more subtle in older men.
