Men Home > Symptoms of Low Testosterone Levels in Men
The specific symptoms of low testosterone levels in men will depend primarily on the man's age at the time the problem started. Signs of this condition tend to be more severe in younger men and less severe in older men.
In men, some of the possible symptoms of low testosterone levels may include:
- Low sex drive (libido)
- Fatigue and low energy
- Problems with impotence (also known as erectile dysfunction, or ED)
Your healthcare provider should not diagnose low testosterone levels based on symptoms alone. He or she will usually order certain blood tests to make a diagnosis. In most cases, testosterone replacement medications are effective for treating low testosterone levels and lessening symptoms.
