Men Home > Megestrol Side Effects

It is possible to develop side effects while using megestrol. Clinical studies on this drug showed that weakness, insomnia, and vomiting were common reactions. While these types of problems are generally minor, serious complications can also occur. Seek medical treatment right away if you experience things like changes in vision or speech, persistent vomiting, or seizures.

An Introduction to Side Effects of Megestrol

Just like any medicine, megestrol acetate (Megace®) can cause side effects. However, not everyone who takes the medication will have problems. In fact, most people tolerate it quite well. If reactions do occur, in most cases, they are minor and either require no treatment or are treated easily by you or your healthcare provider.
