Men Home > Biotin Supplements

Biotin is an essential vitamin that the body needs in order to function properly. This water-soluble vitamin is produced naturally in the body and can also be obtained through a normal diet.

Because only a small amount of biotin is needed, a deficiency is quite rare. However, people with certain health conditions or who take certain medications may have low levels of biotin and may need supplementation. Other people take the supplements for nail or hair health, or to treat high cholesterol.
