Men Home > Vardenafil HCl

Healthcare providers prescribe vardenafil HCl (Levitra®, Staxyn™) for the treatment of erectile dysfunction (ED), a condition marked by the repeated inability to get or keep an erection firm enough for sexual intercourse. In clinical trials, men taking the drug reported a variety of effects, including:

  • Achieving and maintaining an erection during sexual activity
  • Having a harder erection during sexual activity
  • Experiencing improved frequency of orgasms
  • Having increased satisfaction and enjoyment of intercourse.

The medication is available in the form of a tablet (Levitra) and an orally disintegrating tablet (Staxyn). It is taken as needed, typically an hour before sexual activity. Do not take this product more than once a day.
