MethyltestosteroneMethyltestosterone is an altered form of testosterone prescribed to treat low testosterone levels in men. It can also help relieve symptoms of advanced breast cancer in women. Because this form of testosterone is altered, it can be taken orally as a capsule or tablet. It is typically taken one to four times daily. Possible side effects include acne, liver problems, and a decreased sperm count.
