Naftin Precautions

The antifungal drug Naftin® (naftifine) is not suitable for everyone. For example, some of the precautions for using Naftin safely include letting your healthcare provider know if you are pregnant or breastfeeding before using this product. Also, people who have certain allergies should not use this medicine.
 
While many people tolerate Naftin well, there are some potentially serious side effects to be aware of. Contact your healthcare provider right away if you experience problems such as:
 
  • Severe, intolerable skin reactions
  • Difficulty breathing
  • Unexplained swelling of the mouth or throat.
