Robaxin Drug Interactions

When Robaxin is taken with narcotics, benzodiazepines, or a number of other products, negative reactions can occur. Drug interactions with Robaxin can increase your risk of problems such as memory loss, difficulty breathing, and confusion. To help ensure a safe treatment process, tell your healthcare provider about all medications you are currently taking.

An Overview of Interactions With Robaxin

Robaxin® (methocarbamol) can potentially interact with several other medications. Some of the medicines that may lead to interactions with Robaxin include:
 
  • Alcohol
  • Barbiturates, including:
     
    • Amobarbital (Amytal®)
    • Butalbital (Fioricet®, Fiorinal®)
    • Pentobarbital (Nembutal®)
    • Phenobarbital (Luminal®)
    • Secobarbital (Seconal®)
