Dosage of Sildenafil Citrate: An Introduction
The dosage of
sildenafil citrate (
Viagra®) your healthcare provider recommends will vary depending on a number of factors, including:
- Your age
- Other medical conditions you may have
- Other medications you may be currently taking.
As always, do not adjust your dosage of
sildenafil citrate unless your healthcare provider specifically instructs you to do so.
(Please note that this article refers specifically to Viagra, the original sildenafil citrate product that is approved for treating erectile dysfunction. For information about the sildenafil citrate product used to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension, please see Revatio Dosage.)
