Drug Interactions With Silodosin

Certain medications can interfere with silodosin, including cyclosporine, certain antibiotics or antifungals, and other alpha blockers similar to silodosin. Drug interactions could lead to dangerously low blood pressure or increase your risk of developing other side effects. Make sure to talk to your healthcare provider before taking any other medications with silodosin.

An Overview of Silodosin Interactions

Silodosin (Rapaflo) can potentially interact with several other medications. Some of these medicines that may lead to silodosin drug interactions include:
 

 

    • Clarithromycin (Biaxin®)
    • Erythromycin (Ery-Tab®)
    • Fluconazole (Diflucan®)
    • Isoniazid (Nydrazid®)
    • Itraconazole (Sporanox®)
    • Ketoconazole (Nizoral®)
    • Miconazole
    • Telithromycin (Ketek®)
    • Voriconazole (VFEND®)

 

  • Certain HIV or AIDS medications, including:

 

 

 

 

 

 

  • Quinidine.
