Silodosin

Silodosin is a medication licensed to relieve the symptoms of an enlarged prostate. It is available by prescription only and comes in the form of a capsule that is generally taken once daily with a meal. By relaxing the muscles of the prostate and bladder, the medicine can help relieve symptoms such as frequent urination, a weak stream, and nighttime urination.

Potential Side Effects

As with any medicine, silodosin may cause side effects. However, not everyone who takes the drug will experience side effects. In fact, most people tolerate it quite well. If side effects do occur, in most cases, they are minor and either require no treatment or can easily be treated by you or your healthcare provider. Serious side effects are less common.

Some of the most common side effects include, but are not limited to:

Ejaculation problems
Dizziness
Diarrhea
Headaches.
