Grapefruit Juice
Drinking grapefruit juice may affect how your body metabolizes tadalafil. Your healthcare provider may choose to adjust your dosage.
 
Nitrates
If you are taking nitrates, you should not use tadalafil. This includes using recreational drugs called "poppers," which can contain amyl nitrate or butyl nitrate.
 
Theophylline
Taking theophylline and tadalafil may cause a slight increase in heart rate. Your doctor may choose to make necessary dosing adjustments.
