Testopel Drug Interactions

Combining corticosteroids, insulin, and certain other drugs with Testopel may lead to dangerous interactions. Some of these reactions may increase your risk for serious complications, such as fluid retention (edema) or dangerous bleeding. Before starting treatment with Testopel, make sure your healthcare provider is aware of any other medications, vitamins, or supplements you are taking.

Testopel® (testosterone pellets) may react with a number of other medications. Some of the drugs that can lead to interactions with Testopel include but are not limited to:

    • Betamethasone (Celestone®)
    • Cortisone

    • Fludrocortisone (Florinef®)

    • Triamcinolone (Kenalog®, Aristospan®)
