How to Use Testosterone Patch?

If you have low levels of testosterone, your healthcare provider may prescribe the testosterone patch (Androderm®). But how do you use the testosterone patch most effectively?
This medicated skin patch is applied in the evening, between 8 p.m. and midnight. Try to apply it at the same time every night. Also, make sure to apply the patch on a clean, dry area of the skin on the back, stomach, upper arms, or thighs.
Do not place the patch on irritated skin, open sores, or bony areas that may be subject to pressure when you sleep or sit. Also, do not apply it to the same area of the skin more than once a week.
