It is not known if many of the active ingredients in VigRX Plus are either safe or unsafe for women who are breastfeeding. No studies have evaluated the safety of this product (or most of the active ingredients) for use during breastfeeding. Theoretically, several of the active ingredients in VigRX Plus may affect certain hormones or increase the risk of bleeding, both of which could cause serious problems in a nursing infant. Therefore, VigRX Plus should not be considered safe for use in women who are breastfeeding.
